The PTFE weld of all dip tubes undergoes the industry's most rigorous quality control test procedures. These tests include steam cold-water cycling (ASTM F423), thermal quenching and 10,000 volt spark testing.
Ethylarmor® DF Dip Tubes and Spargers
These are double flanged dip tubes having both a connection and a nozzle flange for securing the dip tube to the reactor nozzle flange. DF dip tubes up to 4 inches are available with both EF and TR options.
Ethylarmor® SF Dip Tubes and Spargers
These are single-flange dip tubes having only a nozzle flange, and they must be mounted between a connecting flange and reactor nozzle flange of the same diameter. They are also available in both straight and bent styles
Ethylarmor® with Type EF Option
The type EF (Extended Flare) technology eliminates the need for costly reducing flanges by allowing the fabrication of a dip tube or sparger with an oversized connection flange.
Ethylarmor® with Type TR Option
The type TR (Tight Radius) bent dip tubes are ideal for diverting flow or getting material flowing against the wall of a reactor in the minimum entry length.
Features:
- 1 through 8 inch Diameters
- PTFE Wetted Surfaces
- Extra Heavy Metal Shell for Severe Agitation Applications
(Click for more information)
- Anti-Siphon Holes (optional)
- Extended Flares (type EF)
- Tight Radius Bend/ Diverter (type TR)
- Special Flanging Available
Solid PTFE Dip Tubes and Spargers
Our solid PTFE dip tubes and spargers are fabricated from heavy-walled virgin PTFE tubes. All flanges are threaded and pinned in place. The plug on spargers are either pinned or welded in place, depending on size and style. Solid dip tubes and spargers are available in diameters from 1/2 inch through 4 inches and in entry lengths up to 20 feet.
