The Flexarmor Flexijoint combines the high temperature corrosion resistance of PTFE with the high pressure rating of a type 321 stainless steel carcass. The isostatically molded PTFE liner has a .080" minimum wall thickness for maximum permiability resistance and service life. Conventional lined metal expansion joints have spray coated fluoropolymer linings which are prone to pin-hole leaks.
